Eclipse season continues,
Today’s lunar eclipse and full moon in Pisces peaked at 12:14 am EST, at 4 degrees of Pisces. If you have any placements close to 4 degrees Pisces or Virgo, this eclipse will affect you deeply. Our Mutable signs, Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Gemini will be most influenced by this lunar event.
This Full Moon is also known as the Sturgeon Moon to the Algonquin people, representing strength and abundance for the incoming harvest of fall. The only way to reap an abundant harvest is to let go and make space for its arrival. With this Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Pisces, the sign of surrender and sacrifice, this is your sign to Let Go. Release control of how you think your life is supposed to end up, and you’ll find the path you were really meant to be on.
In the spirit of trying something new, these messages are specifically for each element, Earth, Air, Water, and Fire; read for your sun and rising signs.
earth: the high priestess

This Pisces Full Moon is highlighting the duality of your being. Earth signs, you’re known for being practical and goal-oriented, but what would happen if you dug a little deeper into your Why. Why are you disciplined? Is it out of fear of falling apart or true love of the self? Must you always defer to your inner skeptic to make decisions? How can you incorporate a little more faith into your approach?
This Full Moon in the earth/water (Virgo-Pisces) axis, along with The High Priestess, a water card, is fitting. Earth opposes Water for a reason. Water only needs a little structure (earth) to support the stream. Listen to your quiet inner voice that says, “Believe in your ability to flow.”
air: the world

This Pisces Full Moon highlights an ending. Fitting, as Pisces represents the end of the zodiac cycle, eternal endings for bigger beginnings. Air signs, you’ve learned the lessons and there is a sense of fulfillment in the air. Your values are changing. Your mind has also changed. Where there was once discomfort in the journey, now lives true acceptance. You understand the reason the journey existed in the first place.
The World represents an open portal, ready for you to jump through, if you’re ready to let go of who you once were. This Pisces Full Moon is about shedding old stories that no longer fit. Note the infinity symbol in this card; there are no true beginnings and endings, just opportunities to level up and get stronger. Don’t be afraid to move on and start fresh.
water: 5 of swords

This Pisces Full Moon is highlighting the necessity of conflict. An acknowledgment of the good conflict can bring. While Swords are the Head, Cups/Water are the Gut. The 5 of Swords is an invitation to take a more logical approach to your relationships and overall environment. Instead of always listening to your emotions, take note of the realities of the world around you. The Gut instinct is informed by our Mind, our environment (also Swords associations), not the other way around. How we move through discomfort provides information to our Gut feelings.
This Lunar Eclipse in Pisces is watery to the max. The 5 of Swords brings a rational perspective to a watery Full Moon (especially as a Water sign), because too much water and you drown. Don’t let yourself drown, Water signs. Dealing with conflict, walking away from incompatible situations, can be hard when you care so much. But walking away is also a form of caring for the bigger picture.
fire: page of cups

This Pisces Lunar Eclipse highlights your fear of looking silly. Fire signs might be okay with trying new things, but looking silly is another story, they prefer to look sexy and strong while pushing their own boundaries. Note the fish jumping out of the Cup on the Page of Cups card; there’s a deeper message here: where can you embrace looking silly, being uncomfortable, feeling like a fish out of water.
The Page of Cups is empathetic, sensitive, intuitive. These traits are not typically what we associate with Fire signs, but this presents an opportunity to try something new. Being tuned into the emotions of others can feel and look a little silly, especially if you’re not versed in this language. But just as the Page stands at the water’s edge, between the comfort of solid ground and the literal uncharted waters of the sea, you are at the precipice of a new way of connecting to your new emotional processing. Take the plunge.
